DIVORCE: THE GIFT OF GRIEF®™
This  is offered to individuals who are in various stages of the divorce process (separated, contemplating, divorced, unsure, etc).

Conversation led by Dr. Ajita M. Robinson, NCC, LCPC

Grief is the natural, normal, and necessary reaction to a loss. Although grief is a universal human experience, each loss is grieved in its own way.  

This 90-minute conversation is geared towards individuals who are in various stages of the divorce process (separated, contemplating, divorced, unsure, etc.). Many who are contemplating or emerging from a divorce or separation  experience grief, anger, sadness, and significant stress related to the variety of physical, financial and legal changes. This discussion is aimed at helping you REBUILD after your relationship ends. 

$45.00 per workshop attendee 

Dr. Ajita M. Robinson is the Founder and Lead Clinician at Friends in Transition. Over the past ten years’, Dr. Robinson has demonstrated a commitment to excellence as she gained experience working as a mental health clinician, instructor and researcher; these experiences informed her approach to teaching, training other clinicians, and serving clients in her clinical practice and in the community. In addition to being the founder of FIT, LLC Dr. Robinson is a Visiting Assistant Professor at Loyola University in Maryland and often serves as an adjunct professor at Trinity Washington University in Washington, D.C. 

Dr. Robinson is a Licensed Clinical Professional Counselor and Approved Clinical Supervisor in the state of Maryland and is a National Certified Counselor. Although she works with individuals and families who experience a myriad of mental health concerns, she specializes in grief, loss and life transitions, and neuro-developmental disabilities.
